This upgrade adds depth to your river (between the wood pieces) by pouring a transparent epoxy layer over the tinted epoxy poured during class. The flood coat increases the thickness of the finished piece and preserves more of the live edge of your Epoxy River Serving Tray, Side C-Table, Coasters, Hook Rack, or Cornhole Boards. Our artisans will expertly coat, cut, sand, and gloss seal your project in our wood shop for a smooth finish and stunning results. We can’t wait for you to see your one-of-a-kind piece!

Some thicker projects already include a flood coat: Epoxy River Cribbage Boards, Cribbage Tables, Lazy Susans, and Coffee Tables. We recommend not flood coating Epoxy River Wall Clocks to fit the clock movement depth. Projects without a flood coat will still be beautifully finished to the original epoxy depth and treated with food-safe mineral oil or polyurethane. Flood coating is only available for projects made during a Fisk Avenue workshop.
