Step into our historic downtown Waukesha studio and craft your own classic chess board, perfect for game night or a truly memorable gift! We'll cut two tones of beautiful Wisconsin hardwoods, then you can follow our friendly instructors as you arrange the square pieces in the timeless checkered pattern. You’ll glue, clamp, and sand your board to a smooth, professional finish, and you have the option to add a frame and set of epoxy chess pieces so you have everything ready to play. The board will be complete at the end of your workshop. Schedule a pickup in 2 weeks if you make the pieces then take home a handmade masterpiece and a great story—let’s make your next game night unforgettable!

Tickets are per project, not per person. Partners welcome! Refunds not available for workshops. If you are unable to attend after booking, we offer a one-time transfer to a different day or different workshop, or for select projects you can pick up your materials and instruction as a Take and Create Kit. Liability waiver must be signed before beginning any work with tools or epoxy. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Cheers! Beverages are available to purchase at our wine bar with any workshop. Adults 21 and over can sip a glass of wine or a THC-infused beverage and socialize while getting creative. We also offer water, soda, and juice boxes for the kids.

Our standard workshops are great for up to 5 crafters, but if your group has 6 or more, book a private workshop and we’ll help make your event or party extra special!
