Pizza or Bread Board Workshop

Love woodworking and homemade baking? Create your own custom wooden pizza peel or bread board at Fisk Avenue. Begin by selecting from a variety of hardwoods to design a unique striped pattern, then glue the pieces together to form your board. While the glue sets for about 30 minutes, enjoy a break to explore our studio and soak in the creative atmosphere. Once your board is ready, we’ll plane it smooth and cut a sturdy handle for you. You’ll finish your project by sanding the surface to perfection and applying food-safe mineral oil to protect the wood and highlight its beautiful grain. Leave with a handcrafted pizza or bread board that’s perfect for serving up fresh, homemade baked goods at your next gathering!

If you are unable to attend after purchasing a ticket, we offer a one-time workshop transfer to a time that works for you, or you may pick-up your project as a Take-and-Create Kit. Under 18 welcome but must be supervised by an adult.
