Pizza Peel Board Workshop

Love woodworking and homemade pizza? Create your own custom wooden pizza peel at Fisk Avenue! Begin by selecting from a variety of hardwoods to design a unique striped pattern, then glue the pieces together to form your board. While the glue sets for about 30 minutes, enjoy a break at our wine bar and soak in the creative atmosphere. Once your board is ready, we’ll plane it smooth and cut a sturdy handle for you. You’ll finish your project by sanding the surface to perfection and applying food-safe mineral oil to protect the wood and highlight its beautiful grain. Leave with a handcrafted pizza peel that’s perfect for serving up fresh, homemade pizza at your next gathering—a functional piece you’ll be proud to use and display!
